Shiro Free Download [2023]
Shiro Introduction:
Shiro Games, an independent video game development studio located in Bordeaux, France, was established in 2012 by Sebastien Vidal and Nicolas Cannasse. The studio gained recognition for their creation, Evoland, which originated during the 24th Ludum Dare competition.
Initially, Evoland was conceived as an entry for the 24th Ludum Dare in 2012, with the competition's theme centered around "evolution." Vidal and Cannasse decided to implement gameplay mechanics that would transform as players progressed, symbolizing the evolution and history of RPG video games. Consequently, their game won the 24th Ludum Dare competition.
Gameplay:
The following year, an expanded version of Evoland was launched on the PC via Steam. This update extended the game's playtime and introduced new bosses. Evoland received mixed or average reviews on Metacritic, with a score of 61 based on assessments from 27 critics. Destructoid awarded the game a 7.5 out of 10 rating, describing it as a solid experience with an audience but possibly lacking in replay value or having some noticeable flaws.
In 2014, Shiro Games revealed their plans to develop a sequel to Evoland, titled "Evoland 2: A Slight Case of Spacetime Continuum Disorder." This sequel retained the same gameplay and format as the original while incorporating a more intricate storyline, new gameplay elements, and reduced linearity compared to its predecessor. "Evoland 2" was released on August 25, 2015.
Inspired by Nordic mythology, "Northgard" is a real-time strategy game where players control a Viking clan striving to conquer a wild continent. The game offers both single-player and multi-player modes, along with a story-based campaign featuring progressively challenging missions. In the narrative, players assume the role of Rig, a prince seeking vengeance for his father's death at the hands of Hagen, the ruthless leader of the Clan of the Raven. Rig's journey takes him to the island of Northgard, where he encounters other clans and mythical creatures.
The game is described as follows: "After years of tireless explorations, brave Vikings have discovered a new land filled with mystery, danger, and riches: Northgard. The boldest Northmen have set sail to explore and conquer these new shores, bring fame to their Clan and write history through conquest, trading, or devotion to the Gods. That is, if they can survive the dire wolves and undead warriors roaming the land, befriend or defeat the giants, and survive the harshest winters ever witnessed in the North."
"Northgard" was initially released on PC on March 7, 2018, followed by versions for consoles: Xbox One on September 24, 2019, Nintendo Switch on September 26, 2019, and PlayStation 4 on October 3, 2019. Mobile versions became available for iOS devices on April 13, 2021, and Android devices on August 23, 2021.
